Paradise

Is that there a termite?
does the rain come in
in the dark of the night
will you call the raccoons friends
when they're knocking at the door
is the roof on straight and true
are the windows all on tight
or will the wood that is there
be out of plumb and out of square
Sometimes it doesn't matter if the floor goes up-and-down
or if it takes 30 minutes just to get to town
The ants all march in circles
the deer will rip and rend
The turkeys they all march across
going round the bend
The view out there just can't be beat
roll down the windows and feel that heat
When you're riding off to paradise
it's not just good
it's really nice
